Snorkelling and diving are available, and the property also offers daily housekeeping, laundry and room service. Ferries arrive at Mae Haad, Koh Tao’s pier village; Lomprayah Koh Tao Pier is 2.2 km from Baan Sawainam. A pick-up truck taxi can take you from the pier to Sairee, and scooters are another way to travel between the island’s west-coast settlements. Free private parking is available on site without a reservation. From Sairee, a flat brick path connects the beach strip with Mae Haad on foot; the pier village has pharmacies, banks and the island’s main services.

Swimming, snorkelling and diving are the main activities along this coast. Boat trips from Sairee reach Koh Nang Yuan and its sandbar-linked islets. Top of the rock and Coconut Viewpoint are each 1 km away, Ao Hin Wong is 1.4 km away, and Nangyuan Island is 3 km away. Sairee and the west and south coasts are generally the calmer side from November to March. Ferry crossings can be cancelled in rough seas, which are most common from November to January.
